We’re Dave and Tasha, the new owners of Scotties, and one of us is usually at the store. There is no booking form: dates are settled on the phone.
We took over in July 2025. Since then: a liquor store inside the store, and Dave winterizes boats.

Born in Detroit, raised in New Denver. Dave ran his own logging company for decades, and around the marina he is the one fixing a dock or helping with a boat.
When he is not pitching in, he is out on the lake with a rod in his hand.

Born in Vancouver, raised in Castlegar. You might already know Tasha from the local veterinary clinic.
She is most at home on the beach, on the lake with a line out, or with her own dogs, and she wants the marina to be a place where locals and visitors both feel at home.

The Arrow Lakes are a reservoir. The water moves by as much as 20 metres through the year, and it can change about 30 centimetres in a day. It tends to drop in the fall and winter and rise in the spring and early summer. The gauge shows where it sits today. High water, June to September, is when the tunnel opens. What all that moving water does to a boat is on before you go out.
From Castlegar, take the Robson exit over the bridge, turn left onto Broadwater Road, and follow it for 12 km. We're on your left.
Every price we charge is on the rate sheet. Kids are welcome on the water with an adult, and we have life jackets in every size.
