91 octane, non-ethanol fuel, right at the dock all year, along with propane and motor oil. Jerry cans are allowed, though we would rather fill you up here, and nothing gets emptied into the marina.

In the store
Tackle, rods and reels, fresh bait, batteries, rope, life vests, snacks, frozen treats, Slurpees, party ice and block ice. If it’s something special, we’ll get it in for you.
The liquor store is new and fully licensed: beer, coolers, wine and spirits, the same hours as the store.
One walkway down from the bank, then three long docks: open slips to the east, houseboats and moorage across the middle, and the covered boathouses along the south. A separate row of slips sits out to the east, and the log booms lie off both sides. The store, the fuel and the parking are up on the bank.
Tie up for a day, a week, a month or the whole year. Moorage is priced by your boat’s length and starts at $150 before tax. One night is $10, whatever the boat.
Storage units come in two sizes. They suit RVs, boats, vehicles, quads and Sea-Doos.
For moorage we take Visa, Mastercard, debit and e-transfer.
The launch
The launch is $10, paid in the store. Park the trailer along the barricade for the day, out of the way, or across the road tucked in against the mountain. The ramp gets steep, and when the water is down most people launch from the beach. Dave built a path from the beach to the dock.

Winterizing
Dave winterizes boats. He does basic winterizing, oil changes and leg oil changes. Call the store and ask for Dave.
Kayaks and paddleboards go out by the hour, the half day or the full day, from April to about mid-October. We have tandem kayaks too.
You need to be 18 to rent, or have a parent or guardian here to sign for you. Kids 12 and under go out with an adult. Everyone wears a life jacket, and we have them in every size. We ask you to sign a waiver and leave a credit card with us while you’re out.

Two boats to rent
The Starcraft comes with a downrigger and rod holders. The Stalker has one downrigger and one rod holder. The tank is full when you pick the boat up, and you fill it before you bring it back. We keep a credit card at the store while you are out. Bring your driver’s licence and your boating licence. The boats go out from April to October 1, weather permitting, and come back by closing.
No deposit. If your plans change, give us 24 hours. If the wind or the water turns, we may need to move or cancel a rental.

Paddle to the Labarthe Tunnel
The Labarthe Tunnel is a historic rock tunnel on the lake. When the water is high, from June to September, you can paddle right through it. The bay in front of the marina is sheltered, so it’s a good place to find your balance first. Syringa Provincial Park and its sandy shore are just beyond the marina. The lake is a reservoir, so the water level changes by the day. Before you plan around the tunnel, read why the water moves.
Our cabin sits on the water at the quiet south end of the marina, at the end of its own dock. One bedroom with a queen bed, a pullout couch in the living room, and room for four. A full kitchen with a full-size fridge. A bathroom with a shower. A pellet stove for cool nights. A big deck with a barbecue, and the propane is on us.
Two kayaks with life jackets come with your stay. So does a small tinner fishing boat with a can of fuel. You need a Pleasure Craft Operator card to take the boat out.
Check-in is 3 pm and check-out is 11 am. There is no wifi in the cabin. There is cell service around the marina, though it can be glitchy in places. We don’t need a credit card for the cabin, and there is no deposit. If your plans change, give us 24 hours.
The cabin is open from April to about the middle of October, weather depending, and closed for the winter.

Nine sites beside the lake, with power and water or without. Firewood is at the store. Camping runs from April to the end of October.

Our winter fishing derby runs from November 15 to March 15. Tickets are $100, cash only, at the store, and there are no entries after November 14. There are prizes for the biggest Dolly and the biggest rainbow, and possibly more. The grand prize is a cash payout, and its size depends on how many people enter. Everyone is welcome.
